Hong Kong - 06 November 2015
The International Air Services Commission has received an application [PDF: 306 KB] from Qantas seeking an additional capacity of three frequencies on the Hong Kong and wishes to consolidate this with its current allocation of 25 frequencies on the route. In effect, Qantas is seeking to have a total allocation of 28 frequencies of passenger capacity per week on the Hong Kong route.
There are currently 45 frequencies per week available for immediate allocation to Australian carriers on the Hong Kong route.
In accordance with section 12 of the International Air Services Commission Act 1992, the Commission invites other applications for the capacity.

The International Air Services Commission has received an application [PDF: 58 KB] from Qantas seeking an allocation of 540 seats of capacity per week to operate scheduled services between Australia and the Cook Islands via New Zealand from March 2016.
In accordance with sections 12 of the International Air Services Commission Act 1992, the Commission invites other applications for the capacity.

Canada - 29 September 2015
The Commission received an application [PDF: 460 KB] from Qantas seeking to vary Determination [2014] IASC 113 which allocates 1,092 seats per week of passenger capacity, to add conditions permitting American Airlines to codeshare on Qantas-operated services on the Canada route.
In accordance with section 22 of the International Air Services Commission Act 1992, the Commission invites submissions about the application. The closing date for notice of intention to make a submission is COB (i.e. 5pm) on 6 October 2015, with the submission due by COB (i.e. 5pm) 13 October 2015. If no notice of intention is received by COB 6 October 2015, the Commission may proceed to make a decision.
New Zealand - 21 September 2015
The International Air Services Commission has received an application [PDF: 360 KB] from Qantas seeking a variation to Determination [2014] IASC 102 allocating unlimited capacity and frequency on the New Zealand route. Qantas seeks to add conditions allowing Jetstar Airways Pt Ltd to code share with LATAM Airlines Group on the New Zealand route.
In accordance with section 22 of the International Air Services Commission Act 1992, the Commission invites submissions about the proposed variation.
The closing date for notice of intention to make a submission is COB (i.e. 5pm) Monday 28 September 2015, with the submission due by COB (i.e. 5pm) 5 October 2015. If no notice of intention is received by COB Monday 28 September 2015, the Commission may proceed to make a decision.
Singapore - 16 September 2015
The Commission has received an application [PDF: 502 KB] from Qantas seeking an allocation of 300 seats of capacity per week on the Singapore route to be used to exercise stop-over rights between Singapore and Colombo. The application also seeks permission for Qantas and an Australian carrier which is a wholly-owned subsidiary to use the capacity; and permission to use the capacity in joint services with a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Qantas Group, with Emirates and SriLankan Airlines.

China - 18 August 2015
The International Air Services Commission received an application [PDF: 54 KB] from Qantas seeking an allocation of unlimited capacity on the China route between points in Australia other than Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, and points in China other than Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. The allocation is requested for a period of ten years from the date of determination.

United Kingdom - 18 August 2015
Renewal of Determination [2006] IASC 105 – Qantas.
The International Air Services Commission received an application from Qantas for the renewal of Determination [2006] IASC 105 [PDF: 43 KB] which allocates unlimited capacity on the United Kingdom route that expires on 31 August 2016.
In accordance with sections 12 and 17 of the International Air Services Commission Act 1992, the Commission invites other applications for the capacity.
The closing date for notice of intention to make an application is COB (i.e. 5pm) Tuesday 25 August 2015, with the application due by COB 1 September 2015. If no notice of intention is received by COB Tuesday 25 August 2015, the Commission may proceed to make a decision.
Chile - 24 June 2015
The International Air Services Commission (the Commission) has received an application [PDF: 355 KB] from Qantas seeking the following:
- additional capacity of 364 seats per week in each direction on the Chile route;
- consolidation of all the existing capacity entitlements allocated to Qantas under other determinations—namely, [2014] IASC 111 and [2011] IASC 114 as amended.
This will bring the total amount of capacity allocation to 1,847 seats per week.
Additionally, Qantas has sought the inclusion of certain conditions (set out in the application) in the consolidated determination.
Taiwan - 19 June 2015
The International Air Services Commission has received an application [PDF: 171 KB] from Qantas seeking a renewal of Determination [2011] IASC 106 which allocates 2121 seats of capacity per week in each direction on the Taiwan route. Qantas is seeking to vary the Determination to hand back 861 seats and retain 1,260 seats for a further five-year period from 7 June 2016.
The Determination is due to expire on 6 June 2016. In accordance with sections 12 and 17 of the International Air Services Commission Act 1992, the Commission invites other applications for the capacity.
France-Route 3 (New Caledonia) - 05 June 2015

The Determination is due to expire on 20 May 2016.
