The International Air Services Commission has received an application [PDF: 133 KB] from Pacific Air Express seeking a renewal of Determination [2011] IASC 102 which allocates 17.5 tonnes of all-cargo capacity per week in each direction on the Papua New Guinea route and expires on 4 April 2016. In accordance with sections 12 and 17 of the International Air Services Commission Act 1992, the Commission invites other applications for the capacity.
The closing date for notice of intention to make an application is COB (i.e. 5pm) on 23 April 2015, with the application due by COB 30 April 2015. If no notice of intention is received by COB 23 April 2015, the Commission may proceed to make a decision.

On 24 April 2015, the Commission's delegate issued Renewal Determination [2015] IASC 103 [PDF: 743 KB] which allocates 17.5 tonnes of all-cargo capacity per week on the Papua New Guinea route to Pacific Air Express (Australia) Pty Ltd.
