HeavyLift have applied [PDF: 648 KB] to the Commission to renew Determination [2005] IASC 114, as varied by Decision [2011] IASC 204, the total of which allocates 22.5 tonnes of freight capacity on the PNG route. Other applications for the capacity are invited.
The closing date for notice of intention to make an application or submission is close of business (ie. 5pm) 18 August 2011, with the applications and submissions due by close of business (ie. 5pm) 25 August 2011. If no notice of intention is received by close of business 18 August 2011, the Commission may proceed to decide the matters under consideration as soon as practicable after that date.

On 25 August 2011, the Commission issued Renewal Determination [2011] IASC 111 [PDF: 142 KB] reallocating 22.5 tonnes of freight capacity to HeavyLift. On 30 August 2011 the Commission also issued Resolution [2011] IASC R07 [PDF: 9 KB] which grants HeavyLift an extension of time until 30 November 2011, to fully use other capacity allocated on the PNG route.
