The International Air Services Commission (the Commission) has received an application from Qantas seeking to vary Determinations [2024] IASC 108 and [2024] IASC 107, which allocate capacity on the Japan route to serve Tokyo Haneda Airport, to permit Qantas to utilise the capacity to provide services jointly with Air France and Finnair. 

As part of its application, Qantas also seeks to vary Determination [2021] IASC 101, which allocates capacity for services to points in Japan, except to Tokyo Haneda Airport, to permit Qantas to utilise the capacity to provide services jointly with Finnair.

Invitation for Submissions

In accordance with section 22 of the International Air Services Commission Act 1992, the Commission invites submissions about the variation application.

The closing date for making a submission is 6 May 2025. If you are intending to make a submission, please inform the Director of the Commission, by email (at contact@iasc.gov.au), of your intention as soon as possible.
