The International Air Services Commission (the Commission) has received an application

from Qantas seeking to vary Determination [2023] IASC 121, on the Solomon Islands route, to increase the capacity allocated by an additional nine seats to meet operational requirements.

Invitation for Submissions

In accordance with section 22 of the International Air Services Commission Act 1992, the Commission invites submissions about the variation application.

The closing date for making a submission is 17 November 2023. If you are intending to make a submission, please inform the Director of the Commission, by email (at iasc@infrastructure.gov.au), of your intention as soon as possible.

Update: 30-November-2023

On 29 November 2023, the Commission issued Decision [2023] IASC 216, varying Determination [2023] IASC 121, to increase the capacity allocation to Qantas Airways Limited by nine (9) seats on the Solomon Islands route.  The decision is valid for the duration of Determination [2023] IASC 121 commencing from the date of issue of this decision.
