The International Air Services Commission has received an application
from Qantas seeking a variation to Determination [2017] IASC 131, which allocates unlimited capacity and frequency on the Singapore route for services other than all-cargo services, to permit Air Pacific Limited (trading as Fiji Airways) to use the capacity to code share on flights operated by Jetstar.
Invitation for submissions
In accordance with section 22 of the International Air Services Commission Act 1992, the Commission invites submissions about the transfer application.
The closing date for making a submission is 16 February 2023. If you are intending to make a submission, please inform the Director of the Commission, by email (at iasc@infrastructure.gov.au), as soon as possible.
Update: 28-February-2023
On 24 February 2023, the Commission issued the attached Decision [2023] IASC 201 varying Determination [2017] IASC 131 to permit the use of the capacity on the Singapore route for code sharing between Qantas' wholly-owned subsidiary, Jetstar Airways Pty Limited and Fiji Airways. The permission is valid for the duration of the Determination commencing from the date of issue of this decision.
