On 13th February 2023, the International Air Services Commission (the Commission) received an application
from AERgO International (AERgO) requesting an allocation of 45 tonnes of freight capacity per week on the Papua New Guinea route. It is planned that AERgO will operate three services per week on the route with the first weekly service commencing from 9 April 2023.
Invitation for other applications
In accordance with Section 12 of the International Air Services Commission Act 1992, the Commission invites other applications for capacity on the route.
The closing date for making an application is 1 March 2023. If you are intending to make an application, please inform the Director of the Commission, by email (at iasc@infrastructure.gov.au), as soon as possible.
Update: 08-May-2023
On 4 May 2023, the Commission issued Determination [2023] IASC 117, allocating to AERgO International Pty Ltd 45 tonnes of freight capacity per week on the Papua New Guinea route. The determination is valid for three years from 4 May 2023.
