On 28 September 2022, the International Air Services Commission (the Commission) received an application 

from Qantas requesting the allocation of an additional two frequencies per week on the Timor-Leste route. Qantas requested the capacity on the following basis:

• the allocation is requested for a period of five years from the date of the determination; and
• the capacity will be fully utilised by 30 November 2022.
   

Invitation for other applications

In accordance with Section 12 of the International Air Services Commission Act 1992, the Commission invites other applications for capacity on the route.

The closing date for making an application is 13 October 2022. If you are intending to make an application, please inform the Director of the Commission, by email (at iasc@infrastructure.gov.au), as soon as possible.
