On 18 October 2022, the International Air Services Commission (the Commission) received an application

from Virgin Australia requesting an allocation of 11 seats per week on the Fiji route. Virgin Australia requested the capacity on the following basis:

• the capacity will be used by Virgin Australia;
• the allocation is requested for a period of five years from the date of the determination; and
• the capacity will be fully utilised by 31 December 2022.

 
Invitation for other applications

In accordance with section 12 of the International Air Services Commission Act 1992, the Commission invites other applications for capacity on the route.

The closing date for making an application is 4 November 2022. If you are intending to make an application, please inform the Director of the Commission, by email (at iasc@infrastructure.gov.au), as soon as possible.
