The International Air Services Commission (the Commission) has received an application PDF: 281 KB from Virgin Australia seeking to vary the following determinations to permit the use of capacity for code sharing with Qatar Airways:
Italy
[2022] IASC 106 allocating to Virgin Australia 300 seats per week on the Italy route, for code share services with Etihad Airways and Singapore Airlines.
[2021] IASC 116 allocating to Virgin Australia 300 seats per week on the Italy route, for code share services with Etihad Airways and Singapore Airlines.
[2017] IASC 107 allocating to Virgin Australia 300 seats per week on the Italy route, for code share services with Etihad Airways and Singapore Airlines.
[2017] IASC 119 allocating to Virgin Australia 300 seats per week on the Italy route, for code share services with Etihad Airways and Singapore Airlines.
France
[2019] IASC 124 allocating to Virgin Australia 150 one way seats per day on the France route, for code share services with Etihad Airways and Singapore Airlines.
Invitation for submissions
In accordance with Section 22 of the International Air Services Commission Act 1992, the Commission invites submissions about the transfer application.
The closing date for making a submission is 25 July 2022. If you are intending to make a submission, please inform the Director of the Commission, by email (at iasc@infrastructure.gov.au), of your intention to make a submission as soon as possible.

On 10 August 2022, the Commission issued the following decisions to permit capacity allocated to Virgin Australia on the Italy route to be used for code share between Virgin Australia and Qatar Airways:
