The International Air Services Commission has received an application
from Qantas Airways Limited (Qantas) requesting a variation to Determinations [2015] IASC 111, [2017] IASC 106 and [2019] IASC 121 to permit the use of the capacity to code share on flights operated by Jetstar Asia between Singapore and Colombo.
Invitation for submissions
In accordance with section 22 of the International Air Services Commission Act 1992, the Commission invites submissions about the transfer application.
The closing date for making a submission is 6 March 2020. If you are intending to make a submission, please inform the Executive Director of the Commission, by email (at iasc@infrastructure.gov.au), of your intention to make a submission as soon as possible.
Update: 17-March-2020
On 12 March 2020 the Commission issued the following decisions:
- [2020] IASC 211 - varying Determination [2015] IASC 111
- [2020] IASC 212 - varying Determination [2017] IASC 106
to permit the use of the capacity on the Singapore-Colombo route for code sharing between Qantas Airways Limited and Jetstar Asia Private Limited. The permission is valid for the duration of each determination commencing from the date of these decisions.
- [2020] IASC 213 - varying Determination [2019] IASC 121
to permit the use of the capacity on the Singapore-Colombo route for code sharing between Qantas Airways Limited and Jetstar Asia Private Limited. The permission is valid from 22 October 2020 for the duration of the determination.
