The International Air Services Commission (the Commission) has received an application 

from Pacific Air Express requesting the renewal of Determination [2015] IASC 103 which allocates 17.5 tonnes of freight capacity per week in each direction between Australia and Papua New Guinea.

Invitation for submissions

In accordance with sections 12 and 17 of the International Air Services Commission Act 1992, the Commission invites other applications for capacity on the route.

The closing date for making a submission is 4 May 2020 If you are intending to make an application, please inform the Executive Director of the Commission, by email (at iasc@infrastructure.gov.au), of your intention to make an application as soon as possible.

Update: 06-May-2020

On 6 May 2020 the Commission's delegate issued Renewal Determination [2020] IASC 102, allocating to Pacific Air Express 17.5 tonnes of capacity per week on the Papua New Guinea route.  The determination is valid for five years from 5 April 2021.
