The International Air Services Commission (the Commission) has received an application PDF: 228.03 KB from Qantas seeking to vary Determination [2017] IASC 108, as varied, to enable Qantas to use the capacity for the provision of code share services with Air France and KLM Airlines on the Australia-Thailand route.

Invitation for other applications

In accordance with section 22 of the International Air Services Commission Act 1992, the Commission invites submissions about the review of the determination.

The closing date for making an application is 13 November 2019. If you are intending to make an application, please inform the Executive Director of the Commission, by email (at iasc@infrastructure.gov.au), of your intention to make an application as soon as possible.

Update: 02-December-2019

On 28 November 2019 the Commission issued Decision [2019] IASC 207, which varies [2017] IASC 108 to permit the use of the capacity on the Thailand route for code sharing between Qantas and Societe Air France and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. The permission is valid for the duration of the determination commencing from the date of issue of this decision.
