The International Air Services Commission (the Commission) has received an application [PDF: 282 KB] from Qantas seeking to renew Determination [2014] IASC 109 which allocates 400 seats per week of third country code share capacity on the Italy route. Qantas is also seeking the inclusion of all existing conditions in the determination, which enable Qantas to use the capacity to provide code share services with Emirates and British Airways.

Invitation for other applications

In accordance with sections 12 and 17 of the International Air Services Commission Act 1992, the Commission invites other applications for the capacity.

The closing date for making an application is 11 July 2019. If you are intending to make an application, please inform the Executive Director of the Commission, by email (at iasc@infrastructure.gov.au), of your intention to make an application as soon as possible.
