The International Air Services Commission (the Commission) has received an application [PDF: 43 KB] from Qantas to vary Determination [2014] IASC 102 (as varied) to permit the use of the capacity for the provision of code share services with Alaska Airlines on the New Zealand route.
Invitation for submissions
In accordance with section 22 of the International Air Services Commission Act 1992, the Commission invites submissions about the transfer application.
The closing date for making a submission is 17 July 2019. If you are intending to make a submission, please inform the Executive Director of the Commission, by email (at iasc@infrastructure.gov.au), of your intention to make a submission as soon as possible.
Update: 23-July-2019
On 18 July 2019 the Commission issued Decision [2019] IASC 206 which varies Determination [2014] IASC 102 to permit the use of the capacity on the New Zealand route for code sharing between Qantas and Alaska Airlines. The permission is valid for the duration of the determination commencing from the date of issue of this decision.
