The International Air Services Commission (the Commission) has received an application [PDF: 353 KB] from Virgin Australia seeking to vary Determination [2017] IASC 113 (as varied) to permit the use of the capacity for the provision of code share services with Hawaiian Airlines on the New Zealand route.

Invitation for submissions

In accordance with section 22 of the International Air Services Commission Act 1992, the Commission invites submissions about the transfer application.

The closing date for making a submission is 17 December 2018. If you are intending to make a submission, please inform the Executive Director of the Commission, by email (at iasc@infrastructure.gov.au), of your intention to make a submission as soon as possible.

Update: 18-March-2019

On 18 March 2019, the Commission issued Decision [2019] IASC 203, which varies Determination [2017] IASC 113 to permit the use of the capacity on the New Zealand route for code sharing between Virgin Australia and Hawaaian Airlines. The permission is valid for the duration of the determination commencing from the date of issue of this decision.
