The International Air Services Commission (the Commission) has received an application [PDF: 378 KB]   from Virgin Australia seeking to renew Determination [2013] IASC 132 which allocates unrestricted capacity in each direction on the Fiji route for services between points in Australia other than Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth and authorised points in Fiji.

In accordance with sections 12 and 17 of the International Air Services Commission Act 1992, the Commission invites other applications for capacity on the route.

The closing date for making an application is 24 August 2018. If you are intending to make an application, please inform the Executive Director of the Commission, by email (at iasc@infrastructure.gov.au), of your intention to make an application as soon as possible.

Update: 15-October-2018

On 12 October 2018, the Commission issued Renewal Determination [2018] IASC 117, allocating to Virgin Australia unrestricted capacity in each direction for services between points in Australia other than Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth and authorised points in Fiji. The determination is valid for 99 years from 9 July 2019.
