The International Air Services Commission (the Commission) has received an application [PDF: 43 KB] from Qantas Airways Ltd seeking to renew Determination [2008] IASC 119, which allocates unlimited all-cargo capacity on the Thailand route. Qantas is seeking the renewal of the capacity allocation for a further period of 10 years from 26 September 2018, and to retain all relevant current conditions.
In accordance with sections 12 and 17 of the International Air Services Commission Act 1992, the Commission invites other applications for capacity on the route.
The closing date for making an application is 27 September 2017. If you are intending to make an application, please inform the Executive Director of the Commission, by email (at iasc@infrastructure.gov.au), of your intention to make an application as soon as possible.

On 4 October 2017, the Commission issued Determination [2017] IASC 123 [PDF: 1480 KB] allocating in favour of Qantas unlimited capacity to operate all-cargo services on the Thailand route. The determination is valid for 10 years from 28 September 2018.
