The International Air Services Commission (the Commission) has received an application [PDF: 298 KB]   from Qantas seeking to renew Determination [2013] IASC 119 allocating 300 third country code share seats per week in each direction on the Italy route. Qantas uses the capacity to code share on services operated by Emirates.

In accordance with sections 12 and 17 of the International Air Services Commission Act 1992, the Commission invites other applications for capacity on the route.

The closing date for making an application is 6 November 2017. If you are intending to make an application, please inform the Executive Director of the Commission, by email (at iasc@infrastructure.gov.au), of your intention to make an application as soon as possible.

Update: 05-March-2018

On 2 March 2018 the delegate of the Commission issued Renewal Determination [2018] IASC 101 which allocates to Qantas 300 third country code share seats per week on the Italy route for code share with Emirates and British Airways. The Determination is valid for five years from 8 August 2018.
