The International Air Services Commission (the Commission) has received an application from Qantas [PDF: 349 KB] seeking to vary Determination [2014] IASC 102, as varied, to permit the use of the capacity for code share services with SriLankan Airlines on the New Zealand route, with effect from 18 December 2017.
In accordance with section 22 of the International Air Services Commission Act 1992, the Commission invites submissions about the application.
The closing date for making a submission is 30 November 2017. If you are intending to make a submission, please inform the Executive Director of the Commission, by email (at iasc@infrastructure.gov.au), of your intention to make a submission as soon as possible.
Update: 08-December-2017
On 7 December 2017, the Commission issued Decision [2017] IASC 220 [PDF: 2070 KB] varying Determination [2014] IASC 102 which allocates capacity to Qantas Airways Limited. The decision varies the determination to include conditions permitting the capacity to be used for code share services between Qantas and Sri Lankan Airlines on the New Zealand route.
