The International Air Services Commission (the Commission) has received an application [PDF: 617 KB] from Qantas seeking to renew Determination [2013] IASC 115, as amended, for a further period of five years form 25 October 2018. The Determination allocates:
- 14468 seats of capacity to operate third and fourth freedom rights; and
- for beyond traffic rights, 2148 weekly seats with 12 frequencies per week, seven of which may serve points beyond Indonesia from Denpasar.
In accordance with sections 12 and 17 of the International Air Services Commission Act 1992 (the Act), the Commission invites other applications for capacity on the route.
The closing date for making an application is 22 November 2017. If you are intending to make an application, please inform the Executive Director of the Commission, by email (at iasc@infrastructure.gov.au), of your intention to make an application as soon as possible.

On 7 December 2017, the Commission issued [2017] IASC 130 [PDF: 2287 KB] in favour of Qantas Airways Limited renewing capacity allocation on the Indonesia route. The determination is valid for five years from 25 October 2018.
