The International Air Services Commission (the Commission) has received an application [PDF: 801 KB] from Virgin Australia seeking to renew Determination [2011] IASC 115, which allocates 360 seats per week on the Australia - Solomon Islands route.
In accordance with sections 17 and 12 of the International Air Services Commission ACT 1992, the Commission invites other applications on the Virgin Australia application.
The closing date for making an application is Tuesday, 6 December 2016.
If you are intending to make an application, please inform the Executive Director of the Commission, by email (at iasc@infrastructure.gov.au), of your intention to make an application as soon as possible.
Update: 19-December-2016
On 19 December 2016, the Commission issued Renewal Determination [2016] IASC 114 [PDF: 1620 KB] allocating to Virgin Australia Airlines (SE Asia) Pty Ltd 360 seats of capacity per week in each direction on the Solomon Islands route. The determination is valid for five years from 10 December 2017.
