The International Air Services Commission (the Commission) has received an application [PDF: 801 KB] from Virgin Australia seeking to renew Determination [2011] IASC 131, which allocates, to Pacific Blue Australia, 907 seats of capacity per week in each direction on the Fiji route. In its application Virgin also requested that the new determination reflect the name change to Virgin Australia.
In accordance with sections 17 and 12 of the International Air Services Commission ACT 1992, the Commission invites other applications on the Virgin Australia application.
The closing date for making an application is Tuesday, 6 December 2016.

Update: 19-December-2016
On 19 December 2016, the Commission issued Renewal Determination [2016] IASC 112 [PDF: 1045 KB] allocating to Virgin Australia Airlines (SE Asia) Pty Ltd 907 seats of capacity per week in each direction on the Fiji route. The determination is valid for five years from 5 November 2017.
Additionally, the Commission issued Resolution [2016] IASC R02 [PDF: 195 KB] recognising the name change of Pacific Blue Airlines (Aust) Pty Ltd to Virgin Australia Airlines (SE Asia) Pty Ltd and reflect the new name of the holder of the capacity in Determination [2011] IASC 131.
