The International Air Services Commission (the Commission) has received an application from Qantas [PDF: 113 KB]   seeking to renew Determination [2011] IASC 125 which allocates 500 seats per week of capacity on the Korea route.

In accordance with section 12 of the International Air Services Commission Act 1992, the Commission invites other applications on the Qantas application.

The closing date for making an application is  12 July 2016, Tuesday.

If you are intending to make an application, please inform, by email (at iasc@infrastructure.gov.au), the Executive Director of the Commission of your intention to make an application as soon as practicable.

Update: 14-July-2016

On 14 July 2016, the Commission's delegate issued Renewal Determination [2016] IASC 109 [PDF: 1035 KB]   allocating to Qantas 500 seats of capacity per week in each direction on the Korea route in accordance with the Australia-Korea air services arrangements. The capacity may be used for code share services between Qantas and Asian Airlines on the route. The determination is valid for five years from 1 July 2017.
