The Commission has received an application [PDF: 249 KB] from Virgin Australia to vary the following determinations to permit Singapore Airlines to code share on flights operated by Virgin Australia on the Tonga route:

• Determination [2009] IASC 130 allocating 360 seats per week; and
• Determination [2013] IASC 113 allocating 180 seats per week.

The Commission invites, pursuant to section 22 of the International Air Services Commission Act 1992, submissions about the application for variation. The closing date for notice of intention to make an application is COB (i.e. 5pm) on 23 May 2014, with the application due by COB 30 May 2014. If no notice of intention is received by COB 23 May 2014, the Commission may proceed to make a decision.
