The Commission has received an application  [PDF: 73 KB]  from Qantas for an allocation of fourteen frequencies per week on the United Arab Emirates route. Qantas plans to operate daily services from both Sydney and Melbourne to London, via Dubai. Other applications for the capacity are invited.

The closing date for notice of intention to make an application is COB (i.e. 5pm) on 11 October 2012, with the application due by COB 18 October 2012. If no notice of intention is received by COB 11 October 2012, the Commission may proceed to make a decision.
