As part of the Capacity Utilisation reporting process, Virgin Australia have applied [PDF: 161 KB] to the Commission for a variation to determinations on two routes.
On the Bangladesh route Virgin Australia have applied to vary Determination [2011] IASC 122 to remove provisions for Etihad Airways to code share on Virgin Australia International Airlines services and add provisions to provide joint services with Singapore Airlines.
On the Thailand route Virgin Australia have applied to vary Determination [2010] IASC 119 to remove provisions for Etihad Airways to code share on Virgin Australia International Airlines services and add provisions to provide joint services with Singapore Airlines.
The closing date for notice of intention to make a submission is COB (ie 5pm) on 19 April 2012, with the submission due by COB 26 April 2012. If no notice of intention is received by COB 19 April 2012, the Commission may proceed to make a decision.

On 11 May 2012 the Commission issued Decisions [2012] IASC 211 [PDF: 1722 KB] and [2012] IASC 213 [PDF: 1740 KB] permitting provision of joint services with Singapore Airways on the Bangladesh and Thailand routes.
