The Commission has received an application [PDF: 503 KB]   from Pacific Blue Australia, seeking a variation of Determination [2009] IASC 133 which allocates 3.15 B747 equivalent services of capacity per week in each direction on the Thailand route, to permit the capacity allocated to be used to offer joint services with V Australia or any wholly-owned subsidiary of the Virgin Blue Group. Submissions about the application are invited.

The closing date for notice of intention to make a submission is cob 8 April 2011, with the submissions due by cob 15 April 2011. If no notice of intention is received by cob 8 April 2011, the Commission may proceed to decide the matters under consideration as soon as practicable after that date.

On 13 April 2011, the Delegate of the Commission issued Decision [2011] IASC 205  [PDF: 82 KB] varying Determination [2009] IASC 133 by permitting joint services with V Australia as requested.
