The Commission has received an application from Strategic Airlines to transfer to it capacity on the Indonesia route currently held by Ozjet Airlines. Ozjet is owned by Strategic Global and Strategic Airlines is also a wholly-owned subsidiary of Strategic Global. Strategic plans to commence a once weekly A330 service between Brisbane and Denpasar from 6 December 2009. It plans to introduce a second weekly service from 30 June 2010, subject to securing a small amount of additional capacity via the ‘spill-over” provisions of the Australia – Indonesia air services arrangements.
