Fiji - 17 September 2018

The International Air Services Commission (the Commission) has received an application PDF: 407 KB ReadSpeaker from Virgin Australia seeking to renew Determination [2013] IASC 138 which allocates 1,260 seats of capacity in each direction on the Fiji route.

In accordance with sections 12 and 17 of the International Air Services Commission Act 1992, the Commission invites other applications for capacity on the route.

The closing date for making an application is 2 October 2018. If you are intending to make an application, please inform the Executive Director of the Commission, by email (at iasc@infrastructure.gov.au), of your intention to make an application as soon as possible.

Cook Islands - 17 September 2018

The International Air Services Commission (the Commission) has received an application PDF: 407 KB ReadSpeaker from Virgin Australia seeking to renew Determination [2013] IASC 137 which allocates 180 seats of capacity in each direction on the Cook Islands route. Virgin Australia has also requested that all existing conditions be retained under the renewal determination.

In accordance with sections 12 and 17 of the International Air Services Commission Act 1992, the Commission invites other applications for capacity on the route.

The closing date for making an application is 2 October 2018. If you are intending to make an application, please inform the Executive Director of the Commission, by email (at iasc@infrastructure.gov.au), of your intention to make an application as soon as possible.

Notice on Transfer Applications - 10 August 2018

The Commission has received multiple applications PDF: 614 KB ReadSpeaker from Virgin Australia requesting to vary each of the following determinations to transfer to Virgin Australia International Airlines Pty Ltd (VIVA) the capacity currently allocated to Virgin Australia Airlines (SE Asia) Pty Ltd (VAASEA), with effect from 1 October 2018. Virgin Australia has also requested that each determination is varied to authorise the use of the capacity by VAIA's wholly-owned subsidiary, Tiger International Number1 Pty Ltd.

Invitation to make other applications

In relation to the application for renewal of the 180 seats of capacity on the Solomon Islands route, in accordance with sections 12 and 17 of the International Air Services Commission Act 1992, the Commission invites other applications for capacity on the route.

In accordance with section 22 of the International Air Services Commission Act 1992, the Commission invites submissions about the transfer applications.

The closing date for making an application or submission is 24 August 2018. If you are intending to make an application or submission, please inform the Executive Director of the Commission, by email (at iasc@infrastructure.gov.au ), of your intention to make an application or submission as soon as possible.

Fiji - 10 August 2018

The International Air Services Commission (the Commission) has received an application PDF: 370 KB ReadSpeaker from Virgin Australia seeking to renew Determination [2013] IASC 132 which allocates unrestricted capacity in each direction on the Fiji route for services between points in Australia other than Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth and authorised points in Fiji.

In accordance with sections 12 and 17 of the International Air Services Commission Act 1992, the Commission invites other applications for capacity on the route.

The closing date for making an application is 24 August 2018. If you are intending to make an application, please inform the Executive Director of the Commission, by email (at iasc@infrastructure.gov.au), of your intention to make an application as soon as possible.
